Education

Formal education paired with continuous hands-on learning.

Electrical Engineering

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on communications systems, RF fundamentals, and real-world system design.

Robotics & Industrial Control

Advanced Technology Degree focused on robotics, industrial control systems, automation, sensors, and applied electronics.

Systems Philosophy

How I approach complex technical problems.

  • Systems first. Start with the full system — environment, constraints, users, and failure modes — before optimizing individual components.
  • Design for reality. Favor solutions that work in the field, under imperfect conditions, not just in simulations or lab environments.
  • Simplicity scales. Simple architectures are easier to test, deploy, support, and improve over time.
  • Measure and validate. Test early, test often — EMC, reliability, and performance validation are part of design, not afterthoughts.
  • Hands-on matters. Building, breaking, and fixing systems personally leads to better engineering decisions.
  • Graceful degradation. Systems should fail predictably and safely, preserving core functionality and protecting people, equipment, and mission when conditions exceed design limits.
  • Engineering serves outcomes. Technical excellence exists to support mission success, safety, and long-term reliability.
